Coaching Terms and Client Agreement

These terms apply to coaching sessions and packages provided by GoodImmunity LLC ("GoodImmunity", "we"). By booking a session or purchasing a package you ("the client") agree to them.

1. What coaching is — and is not

GoodImmunity provides lifestyle, wellness and movement coaching. Coaching is a collaborative, goal-directed process that helps you clarify what matters to you, build habits and practices that support it, and adjust them over time.

Coaching is not medical care, psychotherapy, psychological counselling, physical therapy or nutrition therapy, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Although your coach is a physician, no doctor–patient relationship is created through coaching, and nothing said in a session should be taken as medical advice. Coaching complements the care of your own physicians and health professionals; it does not replace it. Please keep them informed of changes you make, and consult them before beginning or changing exercise, diet, medication or other treatment.

If at any time you experience a medical or mental-health emergency, contact emergency services or your physician. Coaching sessions are not an emergency service.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions and results. You agree to tell your coach about any health condition, injury or limitation that could affect your participation — in particular before movement-based work — and to stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort. Movement suggestions are offered as options to be adapted to you; you choose what you do and how.

3. Sessions, scheduling and cancellation

Sessions last about 60 minutes (introductory conversations about 30 minutes) and take place by video call, or in person where agreed. You will receive a confirmation and a reminder with the link or location.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A session cancelled with less notice, or missed, is counted as used. If your coach must cancel, the session is rescheduled at no cost. Sessions start and end at the scheduled time; a late arrival shortens the session.

4. Packages

A package of four sessions is intended to be used over consecutive weeks and remains valid for four months from purchase. Sessions are for the named client and are not transferable. Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period; extensions may be agreed in advance where circumstances warrant. Package fees are not refundable once the first session has taken place, except at GoodImmunity’s discretion.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as agreed with you before booking and are shown on your invoice. Introductory conversations are free of charge. Invoices are payable before the first session of a package or, for single sessions, within seven days of the session. Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect packages already purchased.

6. Confidentiality and privacy

What you share in coaching is confidential. We do not disclose it to anyone without your consent, except where the law requires disclosure or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person. Your booking, contact and session information is stored in Practice Better, a practice-management platform that meets recognised privacy and security standards, under a data-processing agreement. You may ask at any time to see, correct or delete your information, subject to record-keeping we are required to maintain.

Sessions are not recorded by either party unless agreed in writing in advance. Written communication between sessions is welcome for scheduling and brief questions; it is not a substitute for a session.

7. Coaching records and professional development

Your coach keeps brief session notes for continuity. Anonymised session dates and durations may be used to document coaching practice hours for professional certification; no identifying information is shared for that purpose.

8. No guarantee of results

Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, most of them yours. GoodImmunity does not guarantee any particular result. To the extent permitted by law, GoodImmunity’s liability arising from coaching services is limited to the fees paid for the sessions concerned.

9. Ending the coaching relationship

Either of us may end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Sessions already used are charged; the treatment of unused sessions follows section 4.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; the version you accepted at booking applies to sessions booked under it.

Acceptance

By ticking the acceptance box when booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, that you are 18 or older (or booking with a parent or guardian’s consent for a minor as part of a family programme), and that you understand coaching is not medical care.
